OptaBiz (Growth)

Growth, end to end

OptaBiz is your Organisation’s growth workspace. It is one of the windowed companion apps inside the Foundry: a standalone, brand-themed window you open from the Foundry dashboard, scoped to the active Organisation. One agent runs it, the Growth agent, from a chat dock on the right with section tabs across the top.

The Growth agent audits your live website, scores it, and turns what it finds into a tracked recommendation queue. It grounds every finding in your Organisation’s knowledge brain and cites what it used. When the brain lacks a fact, the agent says so rather than invent one.

The agent proposes. Nothing durable is saved until you approve it, and no recommendation moves past “proposed” without your say-so.

LIVE OptaBiz is live and browser-verified. A few capabilities are still being built, and those are called out below.

OptaBiz reads your growth posture as six scores. Each one carries a tone band so you can see at a glance where it sits.

ScoreWhat it measures
HealthOverall site condition: positioning, content, technical state
SEOSearch visibility: metadata, titles, keyword coverage, structure
GrowthDistribution reach: directories, launch surfaces, communities
ConversionHow well the site turns visitors into the action you want
Competitor pressureHow crowded and contested your position is
PerformancePage speed and technical performance signals

The tone bands:

BandRange
Strong75 and above
Fair55 to 74
Needs work40 to 54
At riskunder 40

On a brand-new Organisation the scores read as a dash rather than a number. There is no real signal yet, so OptaBiz shows nothing rather than a plausible-looking guess.

OptaBiz is honest about where each number comes from. This matters, so read it carefully.

The Website Audit crawls your real site. When the crawl reaches the site, the findings and scores are labelled MEASURED. When the crawl cannot reach the site, OptaBiz falls back to a profile-based heuristic and labels that output HEURISTIC.

OptaBiz runs several analyses, each with its own section tab.

Competitor Radar and Grant Finder are web-grounded. The agent proposes real competitors and pulls a live grant feed rather than working from a fixed list. The Growth Opportunities catalogue is filtered down to what fits your Organisation, so you see surfaces worth your time, not a wall of every directory that exists.

The queue is the heart of OptaBiz. Every finding from every analysis lands here as “proposed”. From there, you move each item along a fixed lifecycle.

  1. Proposed. The agent has surfaced it. Every finding starts here.
  2. Planned. You have decided to act on it.
  3. In progress. Work is underway.
  4. Implemented. The change is shipped.
  5. Verified. You have confirmed the change had the intended effect.

You can also dismiss an item at any point.

Each row carries a category, priority, the suggested fix, the expected impact, and the evidence the agent used. The queue stamps who last touched each item, so you can tell your own edits from the agent’s.

The Analytics tab shows real visitor data for your site. It needs OptaBiz’s installable site beacon, a small snippet you add from Settings. Until the first visitor is logged, the tab is empty.

Once the beacon is live, it feeds real funnel data back into OptaBiz. That measured data replaces the heuristic conversion guess, so your Conversion score reflects what visitors actually do rather than an estimate.

  1. Open OptaBiz from the Foundry dashboard. The Command tab leads.
  2. Read the Command tab. It shows the six scores, or a dash on a brand-new Organisation, and the top of the recommendation queue.
  3. Ask the Growth agent to run a growth audit. Type “Run a growth audit” in the chat dock. The agent crawls your live site, refreshes the six scores, and seeds the queue with what it found.
  4. Read the analyses. Work through the Audit, SEO, Competitor, Content, Growth, and Grant sections.
  5. Promote findings into the queue. Move the ones worth acting on from the analysis panels into the recommendation queue.
  6. Advance each item. Walk the items you have committed to through planned, in progress, implemented, and verified.
  7. Install the beacon from Settings when you want the Analytics tab to light up with real funnel data.

OptaBiz is live, and the analyses above all work today. Where a capability is partial, OptaBiz says so in the panel itself:

  • When the crawl cannot reach your site, the audit drops to a heuristic and labels it so. The fix is to make sure your site URL in Settings is correct and reachable.
  • When the live grant feed is unavailable, OptaBiz falls back to a curated offline pool and labels it as curated rather than live, so the Grants panel is never empty.
  • The Analytics tab stays empty until you install the beacon and a real visitor is logged.
