Your knowledge (the brain)

The brain

Every agent in your Organisation answers from the same place. That place is the brain.

Neutron is your Organisation’s memory. It is a searchable, editable store of what your Organisation knows, and it is the single source every agent grounds and cites from when it answers a buyer or produces a deliverable. The store is scoped to your Organisation. One Organisation’s memory is never visible to another.

The founder surface for the brain is called “Know it”, in your dashboard. It has three tabs:

TabWhat it holds
MemoryThe live, searchable memory list. This is what the Organisation knows, and it is yours to correct.
ReviewItems waiting for your sign-off before they become durable memory.
DocumentsFiles you have brought in, with their parse status.

When you create an Organisation, Vanar reads your real data and writes it into readable documents so the agents have something to stand on from day one. Four documents seed the brain:

  • An Organisation overview. What the Organisation does, its products, and its positioning.
  • A sales-and-demand digest. Orders, top sellers, price points, and channel mix.
  • Brand guidelines. Name, voice, colours, and audiences.
  • A support digest. Open and in-flight buyer requests.

Each document is built from data that actually exists. Where a source is empty, say a brand-new Organisation with no orders yet, the document says so rather than inventing content. An agent reading the sales digest of a day-one Organisation will tell a buyer there are no orders yet, instead of making up a figure.

You are not stuck with the starting picture. There are four ways to add to what your Organisation knows.

  1. A website scan at create. Point Vanar at your site during onboarding and it reads the landing page and a few key sub-pages, then writes what it learned into the brain.
  2. Document upload. Drag in PDF, Markdown, plain text, or CSV files, up to 25 MB each. Your team reads them right away.
  3. The Support curation loop. When the Support Desk produces a good answer, curate it into the brain so the next buyer who asks gets the same answer. See Support.
  4. Notes the agents write as they work, plus your own edits in the Memory tab.

All four are live and browser-verified. The website scan, document import, the auto-seeded brain, and curated knowledge all work today.

Agents ground their answers in the brain and cite what they used. They do not invent. When the brain holds the fact, the agent answers from it and points at the source. When the brain does not hold the fact, the agent says it does not know rather than filling the gap with a guess.

This is why curated knowledge matters. An answer you write into the brain through the Support loop becomes the answer every agent gives from then on. You set the wording once, and the Organisation stays on message.

What is solid and what is still being built

Section titled “What is solid and what is still being built”

Curated knowledge is solid. A fact you add by upload or through the Support loop is stored, searchable, and read by the agents the moment it lands.

Deeper recall over long documents is still being built. Today retrieval is text search. There is no semantic vector search yet, so a query phrased very differently from the stored text can miss the row it should have found. When that happens, the agents recover by listing and reading memory rather than giving up, but a well-worded note is more reliable than a long document buried in a large file.

The short version: treat curated knowledge as deep and dependable, and treat long-document recall as good and getting better.

  1. Open “Know it” from your dashboard.

  2. The Memory tab shows what the Organisation knows. It is searchable, and every row is yours to edit or correct.

  3. Bring in your SKUs, onboarding guides, and FAQs by uploading files in the Documents tab. PDF, Markdown, plain text, and CSV are read straight away.

  4. Curate strong answers through the Support Desk so the wording you want becomes durable memory.

  5. Your agents read all of it immediately when they answer buyers or produce work. Nothing else to wire up.
